Business Intelligence Hottest Trends

There has been a hot topic on LinkedIn about what the hottest trend is for Business Intelligence (BI). Some of the responses have been around dashboards, mobility, integration. From my point of view the hottest and important items not trends for BI to actually work are so you can make objective decisions are:

• Ability to see everything
• Ability to access the BI system from anywhere, anytime
• Ability to remove manual intervention in data pulls
• Ability to view the data/visualizations objectively and not subjectively
• Ability to make informed decisions from the data/visualizations displayed
