I thought we’d try a different kind of post today, one that deals with Frosty the Tester. Keep in mind that I’m not a musician so the song doesn’t really rhyme but I hope you still enjoy it.
Frosty the tester was a happy guy
with a test suite here and a script there
and automated tools made of open source
Frosty the tester is a fairytale they say
His skills were grand and always learning
As he knew technology got old
Oh Frosty the tester
Was so excited to get the new app
That he tested all through the nite
Look at Frosty go
Critical defect here, critical defect there
Oh my is that a 404
Frosty the tester knew the
deadlines were coming
So he said let’s run
As much as we can
And follow the 80/20 rule
All his results were logged as they should be
But the other teams didn’t share
Oh no, it’s Go/No Go time
And Frosty doesn’t want to say Go
So he stated the risks with the firm smile
Management reviewed the results via paper metrics
Instead of a combined dashboard like TeamQualityPro
Oh there goes the app into Production
Frosty the tester did his Production validation
and along the way he hoped all would go well
Oh but wait there’s multiple servers down
Wait this didn’t happen in Test…or did it
That’s okay cause Frosty knows a way
Look at Frosty go running with the Dev team
Fix here, validate there
Frosty the tester was so
Glad to see the end users smile
Happy holidays & we’ll see you at the next iteration!
In the meantime, sign up for a free online demo of TeamQualityPro so you can see a BI Dashboard in action. Have questions on how to implement a BI dashboard? Contact us directly, we’re here to help.
